Order NoOrder No. 2 of 9 February 1979 The Secretary for the Environment, by the authority vested in him byArticle 4 (C) of Decree No. 73.030, of 30 October 1973, taking account of OrderNo. 1832, of 17 November 1978, of the State Minister of Mines and Energy, hereby lays down the following rules: I. The concession or authorization requests, for extraction offederal public waters for industrial or hygienic purposes, that are directedtoward the Special Secretariat of the Environment -- SEMA, shall be reviewed,by way of priority, by the Assistant Secretary of Science and Technology, forapproval by the Environment Secretary. II. SEMA may certify regional environmental agencies or entities toapprove the applications referred to in the present Order. In which case, acopy of the application and final decision shall be transmitted to SEMA, forcommunication to the National Department of Water and Electrical Energy, of theMinistry of Mines and Energy.
