TheseRegulations may be cited as the Health (Fluoridation ofWater Supplies)Regulations, 1971. REG 2 2. TheseRegulations shall come into operation on 1st day of April,1971. REG 3 3. Where a councilof a county is required by regulations madeunder the Act toperform the following acts in relation to thefluoridation ofwater in a water supply referred to in thoseregulations,namely,(a) the provision,installation and maintenance of equipment forfluoridation,(b) the making ofarrangements for the addition of fluorine to thewater, and(c) the testing ofthe fluorine content of the water to whichfluorine has beenadded,the council shallperform suc...
