No. 195of 1978), afterconsultation with the Minister for Agriculture,hereby make thefollowing regulations: REG 1 1. TheseRegulations may be cited as the Wildlife Act, 1976(Protection ofWild Animals) Regulations, 1980. REG 2 2. TheseRegulations shall come into operation on the 1st day ofOctober, 1980. REG 3 3. The CommonFrog, Common Lizard, Common Newt, Pygmy Shrew andStoat are eachhereby declared to be an animal to which section 23of the WildlifeAct, 1976 (No. 39 of 1976), applies.
