ACT OF 17 DECEMBER 1976 RELATING TO THE ECONOMIC ZONE OF NORWAY An economic zone s h a l l be established in the seas adjacent t o the coast of the Kingdom of Norway. The King s h a l l determine the date for the establishment of the economic zone and the waters t o which it s h a l l apply. The outer l i m i t of the economic zone s h a l l be drawn a t a distance of 200 nautical miles (1 nautical mile = 1852 metres) from the applicable baselines, but not beyond the median l i n e in r e l a t i o n t o other s t a t e s . The establishment of the economic zone s h a l l not e n t a i l changes in the provisions regading the t e r r i t o r i a l sea of Norway.
