Unofficial translation Act No. 51 of 8 June 1984 relating to Harbours and Fairways[1] (The Harbour Act) Chapter I General Provisions§ 1 (Purpose) The purpose of this Act is to facilitate the best possible planning, development and operation of harbours, and to safeguard traffic. § 2 (Scope) This Act applies to Norwegian internal waters and Norwegian sea territory in general.
