These regulations may be cited as the Environment Protection (Applications for PER Approval and EIA Licence)(Processing Fees) Regulations 2011. 2. In these regulations - "Act" means the Environment Protection Act. 3. There shall be levied, in respect of the processing of an application - (a) for approval of a PER under section 16 of the Act; and (b) for an EIA licence under section 18 of the Act, the appropriate fee specified in the Schedule. 4. The applicant shall pay the fee referred to in regulation 3 to the Director at the time of submitting the application. 5. These regulations shall come into operation on 1 August 2011.
