Inthese regulations- “effluent”means water sullied or contaminated by any matter, in solution or suspensionand derived from the use of the water in connection with domestic, industrialor other activities. “HWM”means the High Water Mark at spring tide; “lagoon”means the extent of sea from the HWM to the reef barrier; “ocean”means the large expanse of sea from the HWM in the absence of a reef barrier orfrom a reef barrier where it exists.3.Noperson shall discharge, or cause to be discharged effluent into the ocean – (a)unless it complies with the standards prescribed in the Schedule;(b) ...
