L THEAGRICULTURE (LAND PRESERVATION) RULES L.N.492/1956,L.N.352/19631. These Rules may be cited as theAgriculture (Land Preservation) Rules. 2. In these Rules,"Director" means the Director of Agriculture. 3. The Director may, with theapproval of the district agricultural committee concerned, issue a landpreservation order to any owner or occupier of land for any of the purposes setout in section 48 of the Act requiring acts or things to be performed or doneor prohibiting acts or things from being performed or done to the satisfactionof the Director, imposing conditions upon any such requirement and prescribingperiods and dates upon, within or before which such acts or things shall beperformed or done or such conditions shall be fulfilled. 4.
