PARTI - PRELIMINARY 1.These Rules may be cited as the Plant Protection Rules. PARTII - GENERAL 2. The Minister may, by notice in the Gazette, prohibit the movement within Kenyaof any plant or seed which is diseased or likely to spread disease, and mayprohibit for any period the planting or growing of any crop or variety thereofwhich may be considered likely to hinder the prevention of the spread or theproper control of any disease or pest. 3.
