Composition of offences2. —(1) Any of theoffences specified in the Schedule may be compounded for a sum notexceeding $2,000.(2) Theoffence punishable under section 24(5) of the Act (opposing or obstructingdetention of a ship) may be compounded for a sum not exceeding $500.
