This Law shall lay down the general requirements for record keeping, marking, collection and use of packaging made in the Republic of Lithuania and imported into the Republic of Lithuania and of packaging waste, with a view to preventing a negative impact of packaging and packaging waste on the environment and human health; it shall also establish the rights and duties of manufacturers, importers, sellers, consumers and users of products and waste management entities when managing packaging and packaging waste. 2.
