This Act may be cited as the Forests (Amendment)Act, 1999.2. In this Act, a reference to “the Act” is a referenceto the Forests Act.EnactmentShort titleInterpretation3. Section 2 of the Act is amended by—(a) inserting after the word “2” at thecommencement of this section theword “(1)”;(b) deleting the definition of the word “timber”and substituting the following definition:“timber includes—(a) all species of trees listed in theSecond Schedule whetherstanding, fallen, living or dead;(b) lumber, bucked or peeled;(c) logs; and(d) all wood whether cut up orfashioned for a purpose or not.”;(c) deleting the definition “tree” andsubstituting th...
