This Law governs the activity and relations of individual entrepreneurs, naturalpersons and legal entities in the spheres of electric power generation, transmission,dispatch, distribution, import, export and consumption as well as natural gas supply,import, export, transportation, distribution and consumption, and insures thefunctioning and development of the electric power engineering and natural gas ofGeorgia by the principles of market economy. This Law does extend to the survey,extraction, processing and accumulation of natural gas, to relations between thenatural gas producer and supplier licensee as well as to the transit of electric powerand natural gas across the territory of Georgia.
