S T A T U T O R Y I N S T R U M E N T S 2008 No. 1767 ENERGY The Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Act 2006 (Sources of Energy and Technologies) Order 2008 Made - - - - 3rd July 2008 Coming into force - - 23rd July 2008 The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(4) of the Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Act 2006(a). A draft of this Order was laid before Parliament in accordance with section 26(6) of that Act and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament. Citation and commencement 1. This order may be cited as the Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Act 2006 (Sources of Energy and Technologies) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 23rd July 2008. Amendment of section 26(2) of the Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Act 2006 2.
