The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 10, 20, 21, 46, 47, 49 and 50 of the Air Pollution Act 1987 (No. 6 of 1987) and by sections 6, 53, 54 and 56 of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 (No. 7 of 1992) and for the purpose of giving effect to Council Directive 2002/3/EC relating to ozone in ambient air (1 ) hereby makes the following Regulations: Citation1. These Regulations may be cited as the Ozone in Ambient Air Regulations 2004. Entry into Force2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 16th day of February 2004. Definitions3.
