No. 140 of 2006 Environmental Noise Regulations 2006 The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 6, 53 and 106 of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 (No. 7 of 1992), as amended by Part 2 of the Protection of the Environment Act 2003 (No. 27 of 2003), for the purpose of giving effect to Council Directive 2002/49/EC relating to the assessment and management of environmental noise (1 ) hereby makes the following Regulations: - Citation1 These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Noise Regulations 2006. Entry into Force2 These Regulations shall come into operation on the 3rd day of April 2006.
