KENYAKENYA The Forests Act, CHAPTER 385 THEFORESTS (CLOSING) RULESL.N.79/1963 1. TheseRules may be cited as the Forests (Closing) rules. 2. Noperson shall enter, or remain in, the forest areas specified in the Schedule tothese Rules during the period 15th January to 15th April inclusive, in eachyear; but nothing in this rule shall apply to - (a) anofficer of the government acting in the due performance of his duties; (b) anemployee of the Forest Department in possession of an employment which is inforce; (c) theuse of recognized fishing tracks on the banks of streams declared open underthe provisions of the Trout Act for trout fishing by bona fide anglers licensedunder that Act and their gillies.
