THE WILD LIFE (TRANSACTIONS AND TAXIDERMY) RULES, 1973THE WILDLIFE (TRANSACTIONS AND TAXIDERMY) RULES, 1973In exercise of thepowers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 63 of the WildLife (Protection) Act, 1972 (53 of 1972), the Central Government hereby makesthe following rules:-1. Short title,extent and commencement. (1) These rules may be called the Wild Life(Transactions and Taxidermy) Rules, 1973.(2). They extend tothe whole of the States of Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, MadhyaPradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.(3) They shall comeinto force on the 9th April, 1973.2.
