Territorial Seaand Exclusive Economic Zone (Beveridge Reef) Regulations 1997 NIUETERRITORIAL SEAAND EXCLUSIVE ECONOMIC ZONE (BEVERIDGE REEF) REGULATIONS 1997At the CabinetChambers this 27th day of September 1997PURSUANT to section 60 of the Territorial Sea and Exclusive Economic ZoneAct 1996 the Cabinet makes the following regulations:1 Citation(1) These regulations may be cited as the Territorial Sea and ExclusiveEconomic Zone (Beveridge Reef) Regulations 1997.2 Interpretation(1) In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears-"BeveridgeReef Designated Fishery" means the fishery designated in accordancewith section 12 of the Territorial Sea and Exclusive Economic Zone on 27September 1997;"reef”includes bommie fields, reef slopes, moats and ramparts.(2) If a penalty is set out at the foot of a regulation or subregulation itmeans that a contravention of the regulation or subregulation whether by act oromission is an offence punishable by a fine not exceeding t...
