AGREEMENTAGREEMENTON THE COOPERATION FOR THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTOF THE MEKONG RIVER BASIN The Governments ofThe Kingdom of Cambodia, The Lao Peoples Democratic Republic, The Kingdom ofThailand, and The Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, being equally desirous ofcontinuing to cooperate in a constructive and beneficial manner for sustainabledevelopment, utilization, conservation and management of the Mekong River Basinwater and related resources, have resolved to conclude this Agreement settingforth the framework for cooperation acceptable to all parties hereto toaccomplish these ends, and for that purpose have appointed their respectiveplenipotentiaries: The Kingdom of Cambodia:H.E.
