CitationTheseregulations may be cited as the Food Hygiene Regulations 2009.2. InterpretationInthese Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires:-"potablewater" means any water that complies with the standard prescribed inthe Food Regulations 1985[P.U. (A) 437/1985];"microbiologicalcontaminant" includes viruses, bacteria, fungi and their toxins but doesnot include microorganisms which are permitted to be added into food under theFood Regulations 1985;"sealedcontainers" includes all forms of hermetically sealed containers orpackages;"clean"means a condition or such circumstances which shall not lead to, or cause anycontamination to food with filth or other objectionable matter such as foodresidue, soil, ...
