1997· 8· 6Presidential Decree No. 15449 Article 1 (Purpose) The purpose of this Decree is to prescribe matters delegated by the Act on the Exercise of Sovereign Rights on ForeignersFishing, etc. within the Exclusive Economic Zone and those matters necessaryfor the enforcement of the Act. Article 2 (Specifically ProhibitedZone) A Specifically Prohibited Zones referred to in the provisions of Article 4 of the Act on the Exercise of Sovereign Rights onForeigners Fishing, etc. within the Exclusive Economic Zone (hereinafterreferred to as the "Act") is set out in the annexed Table 1. Article 3 (Matters Subject toAuthorization of Fishing, etc.) (1) Any foreigner wishing to do fishing activities inthe Exclusive Economic Zone pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 of the Act shall obtain authorization or apermit from the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in respect of eachof the following subparagraphs: 1.Type of fisheries; 2.Size of fishing vessel; 3.Number of ac...
