ACT ON THE PREVENTION OF CONTAGIOUS ANIMAL DISEASES Wholly Amended by Act No.6817, Dec.26,2002 Amended by Act No.7434, Mar.31,2005CHAPTER I GENERAL PROVISIONSArticle 1 (Purpose) The purpose of this Act is to contribute to developing the livestock industry and elevating the quality of the public health by preventing the outbreaks of contagious animal diseases or controlling their spread.Article 2 (Definitions) The terms used in this Act are defined as follows: 1. The term "livestock or domestic animals" means such animals as cattle, horses, donkeys, mules, sheep, goats, turkeys, ducks, geese, pigs, dogs, chickens, honeybees, deer, rabbits and other animals as determined by the Presidential Decree; 2.
