Citation 1. These Regulations may be cited as theProtection of the Sea (CivilLiability) (Registration of ForeignJudgments) Regulations. Interpretation 2. (1) In these Regulations, unless thecontrary intention appears- "compensation for pollutiondamage" means compensation in respect ofincidents- (a) that have causedpollution damage; or (b) in relation to whichpreventive measures have been taken to prevent or minimize pollution damage; "judgment" means a judgment ororder given or made by a court in proceedingsfor compensation for pollution damage beinga court situated in a country towhich the Civil Liability Conventionapplies; "judgment creditor" means, inrelation to a judgment, the person in whosefavour the judgment was given ...
