The present law defines the legal status of the territorial waters of the Republic of Poland, the coastal zone, and the agencies of maritime administration and their powers. 2. The provisions of the present law do not apply if an international agreement to which the Republic of Poland is a party specifies otherwise. Article 2.1. The territorial waters of the Republic of Poland are: 1) Inshore sea waters; 2) The offshore zone; 3) The exclusive economic zone; and they are henceforth referred to as "Polish territorial waters." 2.
