Purpose of the law 1.1 The purpose of this law is to regulate the relations arising from protection, possession, sustainable use, restoration and reproduction of forests in Mongolia. Article 2. Related leguislation2.1 The legislation on forestry comprises the Constitution[1], Law on Environmental Protection[2], this law and other legislative acts of Mongolia, consistent with the former. 2.2 Where an international treaty of Mongolia provides otherwise, the provisions of the international treaty shall apply.
