S T A T U T O R Y I N S T R U M E N T S 2008 No. 3066 ANTARCTICA The Antarctic (Amendment) Regulations 2008 Made - - - - 19th November 2008 Laid before Parliament 8th December 2008 Coming into force - - 29th December 2008 The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 9(1), 10(1), 14(1), 25(1) and (3) and 32 of the Antarctic Act 1994(a): Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Antarctic (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into force on 29th December 2008. The Antarctic Regulations 1995(b) (“the principal Regulations”), as amended(c), and these Regulations may be cited together as the Antarctic Regulations 1995 to 2008. Amendment of Regulation 4 of the principal Regulations 2.
