Page 1 National legislation - DOALOS/OLA - United Nations asdf Maritime Space, Inland Waterways and Ports Act of the Republic of Bulgaria 28 January 2000(1) CHAPTER ONE GENERAL PROVISIONS Article 1 (1) The present Act establishes the legal regime of the maritime space, inland waterways and ports of the Republic of Bulgaria. (2) In the maritime space and inland waterways and in the ports, the Republic of Bulgaria shall exercise sovereignty, certain sovereign rights, jurisdiction and control in conformity with the generally agreed principles and standards of international law and the international agreements to which the Republic of Bulgaria is a party.
