(Amendment) Regulations 2007 Made - - - - 22nd June 2007 Laid before Parliament 3rd July 2007 Coming into force in accordance with regulation 2 The Secretary of State is a Minister designated(a) for the purposes of making Regulations under section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(b) in relation to measures relating to the conservation of natural habitats and of fauna and flora. These Regulations make provision for a purpose mentioned in section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972. It appears to the Secretary of State that it is expedient for any reference to an Annex to Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild flora and fauna(c) or to Council Directive 79/409/EEC on the conservation of wild birds(d) to be construed as a reference to that Annex as amended from time to time.
