S T A T U T O R Y I N S T R U M E N T S 2009 No. 1850 SEA FISHERIES, ENGLAND The Sea Fishing (Landing and Weighing of Herring, Mackerel and Horse Mackerel) Order 2009 Made - - - - 8th July 2009 Laid before Parliament 14th July 2009 Coming into force - - 12th August 2009 The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the Secretary of State concerned with sea fishing in Northern Ireland make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 30(2) of the Fisheries Act 1981(a), and now vested in them(b), and paragraph 1A of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972(c). This Order makes provision for a purpose mentioned in section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, and it appears to those Secretaries of State that it is expedient for references in this Order to Commission Regulation (EC) No 1542/2007 on landing and weighing procedures for herring, mackerel and horse mackerel(d) and to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2847/93 establishing a con...
