S T A T U T O R Y I N S T R U M E N T S 2008 No. 691 SEA FISHERIES, ENGLAND The Tope (Prohibition of Fishing) Order 2008 Made - - - - 9th March 2008 Laid before Parliament 13th March 2008 Coming into force - - 6th April 2008 The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and the Secretary of State concerned with the sea fishing industry in Northern Ireland, having consulted the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry(a), make this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5(1), 5(6), 6(1), 6(1A) and 15(3) of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967(b). Citation and commencement 1. This Order may be cited as the Tope (Prohibition of Fishing) Order 2008 and comes into force on 6th April 2008.
