S T A T U T O R Y I N S T R U M E N T S 2010 No. 39 AGRICULTURE, ENGLAND The Common Agricultural Policy Single Payment and Support Schemes (Appeals) Regulations 2010 Made - - - - 5th January 2010 Laid before Parliament 14th January 2010 Coming into force - - 5th February 2010 The Secretary of State is a Minister designated(a) for the purposes of making Regulations under section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(b) in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Union. These Regulations make provision for a purpose mentioned in that section and it appears to the Secretary of State that it is expedient for the references to the legislation set out in regulation 2 to be construed as references to that legislation as amended from time to time. In accordance with section 56(1) of the Finance Act 1973(c), the Treasury consent to the making of these Regulations.
