S T A T U T O R Y I N S T R U M E N T S 2006 No. 984 (C. 30) WATER, ENGLAND AND WALES The Water Act 2003 (Commencement No. 6, Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2006 Made - - - - 30th March 2006 The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on her by sections 104(6)(a) and 105(3) to (6) of the Water Act 2003(a), and having consulted the National Assembly for Wales(b):Citation and interpretation 1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Water Act 2003 (Commencement No. 6, Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2006. (2) In this Order— “the Act” means the Water Act 2003; and “the Agency” means the Environment Agency. Provisions coming into force on 1st April 2006 2.
