S T A T U T O R Y I N S T R U M E N T S 2009 No. 2263 INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING The Infrastructure Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2009 Made - - - - 1st September 2009 Laid before Parliament 8th September 2009 Coming into force - - 1st October 2009 The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government being a designated(a) Minister for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(b) in relation to the environment, in exercise of the powers conferred by that section makes the following Regulations: Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Infrastructure Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on 1st October 2009. Interpretation 2.—(1) In these Regulations— “the Act” means the Planning Act 2008(c); “any other information” means any other substantive information relating to the environmental statement or updated environmental statement and provided by the applicant; “...
