S T A T U T O R Y I N S T R U M E N T S 2009 No. 1901 TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING, ENGLAND The Planning (Hazardous Substances) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2009 Made - - - - 15th July 2009 Laid before Parliament 21st July 2009 Coming into force - - 1st October 2009 The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4, 5, and 40(1) of the Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 1990(a): Citation, commencement, application and interpretation 1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Planning (Hazardous Substances) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on 1st October 2009. (2) These Regulations apply in relation to England only. (3) In these Regulations— “the Hazardous Substances Act” means the Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 1990; and “the Hazardous Substances Regulations” means the Planning (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 1992(b).
