The most recent amendments (SFS 1997:878) came into force on 21 June 1995 Supervisory authority Section 1 The Swedish Energy Agency shall be the supervisory authority in accordance with Section 2 of the Contingency Storage of Oil and Coal Act (1984:1049). The Swedish Energy Agency shall also exercise supervision of the storage discharged by other government authorities than the Swedish Armed Forces and the Defence Matériel Administration.
