The presentStatute, pursuant to the RF Water Code, shall determine the rules of exercisingstate control of the use and protection and bodies of water. 2. The task of statecontrol of the use and protection of bodies of water shall consist in ensuringcompliance by legal and natural persons with the rules established bylegislation for the use and protection of bodies of water; with the standards, normalsand rules in the use and protection of bodies of water; with the regime of useof territories of water-protection zones of bodies of water, and with otherrequirements of RF water legislation.
